The Black Eyed Peas are an American hip-hop (musical styles: crossover rap/hip hop and alternative rap/hip hop) group from Los Angeles, California,
William James Adams Jr (born March 15, 1975), better known as will.i.am, is a founding member of the Black Eyed Peas. William is of Jamaican American descent.
Allen Pineda Lindo, (b. 28 November 1974) is better known as Apl.de.ap. He was born in the impoverished district of Sapang Bato in Angeles City in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. He is of Afro-Filipino descent.
Jaime Luis Gomez, born July 14, 1975 in Rosemead, California, better known as Taboo Nawasha. He is of Mexican/Native American descent. Taboo's Native American roots are that of the Shoshone tribe. Taboo's step-father was born in Morelia, the capital of the state Michoacán, Mexico, whilst his mother, although born in Los Angeles, derives from Dakota. He has one son named Joshua Parish Gomez, who was born when Taboo was 18.
Stacy Ann "Fergie" Ferguson (born March 27, 1975 in Whittier, California, USA), is the female vocalist for the Black Eyed Peas
Ferguson began her career in 1983 as the voice of Sally Brown in the Peanuts special It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown. Shortly afterwards, at the age of eight, she made her first appearance on the variety television program Kids Incorporated. During the following five years, Ferguson appeared on over 100 episodes of Kids Incorporated, some of which alongside Renee Sands, with whom she would later reunite in the band Wild Orchid.
In 1993, Ferguson graduated from Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, California.
