    		Nope. To the west of Michigan is Minnesota. The answer is Maine.

    Monaco, an independent state, is surrounded on three sides by France.

    		Alaska is bordered on three of its sides by water, the Arctic ocean to the north, the Bering Sea to the west, and the Pacific Ocean to the south.

    		If we argue that Monaco is surrounded on three sides by France, then we must also argue for countries like San Marino which is surrounded on "three" sides by Italy...

    ... but one should also note that on the fourth side, you also have Italy... *grin*
