What is the difference between a navel and belly button?

Just out of curiosity, WHY is belly button fluff blue or bluish in colour? I never believed that it was, as I never got it until about two years ago. Even when I am not wearing blue (not a Blue Baloo), it's bluish at least. And do females get it, or is it a male pecularity? Apr 14 06, 2:22 PM
