Is there anyway to find out which tablets have shells made from gelatine?

If the packet doesn't list subsidiary ingredients, try one of those compendiums of medicines. If gelatine causes problems for allergy reasons, it should be listed. If it's a problem because someone is a vegan, only answer is see the pharmacist or the doctor. Apart from which, if it's slightly powdery looking as opposed to real smooth, no it doesn't. If it's a shiny little torpedo and looks like plastic, yes it does.
