    How many US physicians are there?

    		I suppose there may be more but there's at least 650,000 licensed physicians in the U.S. according to this from the American Medical Association website:

    "The public can view information on 650,000 US licensed physicians using the AMA's premier physician locator service, AMA DoctorFinder."
