Does anyone know if you need a passport to travel from the US to the Bahamas, or where I can find out? Or if other identification other than a passport can be used?

US visitors staying for eight months or less need a return ticket plus a passport (passports expired up to five years may also be used), or a certified birth certificate with an official photo identification.

From US to Bahamas, you'll need either your passport or birth certificate.
From the URL below, in the left margin there is a link to info for US citizens traveling to the Caribbean

Have a great trip!!

For any flight, you need some sort of photo identification, and the Bahamas are no exception. For practical purposes, I carry my passports wherever I go.
