    Why has the colour purple been taken to the courtroom lately, and what was the outcome?

    		Good grief, I had no idea.

    Apparently, Cadbury-Schweppes sued smaller chocolate makers for "ownership" of the color purple but lost in the case of one of them, as this site indicates.

    How interesting that one can own a color. I think I'll look for one to claim:

    Anyway, yes, Cadbury was told in court yesterday that "It did not own the colour purple." Techy stuff this courtroom banter, eh?
