When the Wright brothers made their historic 1903 flight, what was the first, and for a while, the only magazine to cover the story?

    Question #65717. Asked by Czolgolz.

In 1903 they made the first powered, manned aircraft. It flew 120 feet. In March of 1904, a civil engineer named Octave Chanute issued a magazine by the name of Popular Science Monthly. The first issue out had a picture of the Wright brothers' plane flying. At that time newspapers everywhere had little coverage of the Wright brothers' discovery.

Actually, I should have said the first magazine to print an eyewitness account. The answer I was looking for was 'Gleanings in Bee Culture' (for beekeepers), but my question was poorly worded.
