Veggie Boy - A dark green high-protein vegetable drink seen on episode No. 203 "Veggie-Boyd" on the sitcom CHEERS/NBC/1982-93. Veggie Boy was a blend of Broccoli, Cauliflower and Kale juice. The makers of Veggie Boy chose Woody Boyd (Woody Harrelson) a naive Indiana farm boy-turned-bartender as their spokesperson to advertise the goodness of their new drink product. Unfortunately, Woody thought the drink tasted terrible and got upset with himself for saying that he "liked" the product in the ad. To appease Woody's guilt, psychologist Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) gave Woody a hypnotic suggestion which freed him of his anxiety and allowed him to actually enjoy the drink. Unfortunately, Woody soon learned that the makers of Veggie Boy were discontinuing their product due to lack of interest by the public. Upon hearing the news, Woody cried, "Has America gone MAD!?"
