Lemon is a mild diuretic and will assist "somewhat" in the reduction of excess water. Some also think lemon makes water more palatable and easier to drink. The only TRUE formula for weight loss is reduced caloric intake with increased activity (exercise). Anything else will be unfruitful. As for the water/Lemon thing.....Water loss is not the goal in dieting, reduction of stored fat is! May 30 06, 9:04 AM
