    		About 20 years ago, American crooner, Pat Boone, got in with some developers who decided to build the sea-side town of Ocean Shores. The focal point would be a golf course and club rooms. The idea took a while to take off, but now the golf course is the best in the area, and the neat suburb, with a large shopping centre, sports beautiful views from brick veneer palaces, with real estate prices considerably more reasonable than in fashionable Byron Bay.
