How does swimmer's ear medication work? How is putting more water into your ears supposed to make there less water in your ears?

Question #66378. Asked by pjotr. (May 30 06 10:08 PM)

    ceetee

Swimmer's ear is not so much water in the ears as a bacterial or fungal infection that arises (mainly but not exclusively) from contact with water, such as swimming. The medications are intended to eliminate the infection.
