    Suppose I am flying to Spain from India. Although my baggage is checked till Spain, and after not getting the baggage, how much compensation am I supposed to get?

    		Babba06 is correct. It depends upon the airlines and upon any additional insurance you may have purchased. Here is a link to just ONE of MANY insurance agencies. The reason I have included this one is that it gives you a nifty little rate quote.
