What is the most humane way to euthanize a pet fish?

Take it to a pet shop. When I was really young one of my fish was really ill and i got really upset about it so my Dad took it to a pet shop and they promised to euthanize it for us. For all i know they may have done something really awful to it, but i'll give them the benefit of the doubt and believe the fish died nicely! (try a nice pet store though, not one that has dead fish floating in their tanks - thats hardly a good advertisement!) Jun 05 06, 4:59 PM
