What does the term "Dynamo" mean when it is put in front of a sports team name, eg Dynamo Moscow, Dynamo Kiev, Dynamo Zagreb (all football teams)?

2. An extremely energetic and forceful person: a vice president who was the real dynamo of the corporation.
So it would mean that the team was energetic and forceful, I suppose
