In relation to Dario Fo and his winning the Obie Award, and the Nobel Prize for Literature, he also won the Agro Dolce Prize. What is it?

Campione d'Italia is an Italian enclave within the Swiss canton of Ticino and I do not understand how that answers the question...??? (Not being critical...just confused).

An Agrodolce Prize was established in 1963 in Cesenatico, a resort on the Adriatic riviera, in order to promote tourism. The prize would be awarded to the sweetest (dolce) and sourest (agro) celebrity present in Cesenatico. It only lasted two years, though (1963 and 1964), and was not given to Fo. The prize he and his wife, Franca Rame, were awarded in Campione d'Italia in 1988 might have been a sort of revamp of the original Cesenatico prize. (Fo might have been the sour one, and Rame the sweet one?!?)

zbeckabee, what is the answer? I was mainly giving a site, I'm not sure what the answer is obviously. I was hoping someone would tell me also.

I found a couple of Italian sites that mention the "Premio Agrodolce" of Cesenatico. Apparently, the first prize (of 1963) was split between Fellini actress Sandra Milo and actor Walter Chiari. I'm not posting that site, because it's too hard to read even if you can manage Italian, but just to prove that the Cesenatico Premio Agrodolce did exist:

I haven't any idea what Fo's award was.

I'd like to see where vale got that information from, as all the sites I ventured to gave Fo the prize in 1987.
Mind you, there were a few, um, er, other entertaining sites gathered if the words were Googled in a certain way....

I think vale is correct and that he (or she) answered the question on the basis of personal knowledge. An "Agro Dolce Prize" WAS given to Fo in 1987, but I'd agree with vale that it's probably not the same prize offered in Cesenatico in the early 60's.
If you really want to read this thing, then scroll down to page 4, to the article on the left titled "Cesenatico all'ombra del grattacielo: vent'anni di estati ruggenti":
