    During WWII, a European country utilized a military construction made of cement in order to control armoured infiltration.     		I suppose these must be the "dragon's teeth" in "Toblerone lines" on the Siegfried line built by the Germans. They were also used on the Maginot Line, and apparently Switzerland still maintains some:

    		Very good Frankie, and I was thinking more of the Toblerone Line along the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland to stop the tank invasion from the west.
