Scots like to tease tourists by telling them that the haggis is a small four-legged animal whose legs are shorter on one side than the other to enable it to run around the sides of mountains in a lopsided fashion, but this is indeed the recipe for haggis. As groundskeeper Willie says, "Tastes as good as it sounds!". I believe tripe is the stomach lining of a cow?
