    The following is a recipe for what: take the heart, liver, lungs, and small intestine of a calf or sheep, boil them in the stomach of the animal, season with salt, pepper and onions, add suet and oatmeal. Enjoy!

    Scots like to tease tourists by telling them that the haggis is a small four-legged animal whose legs are shorter on one side than the other to enable it to run around the sides of mountains in a lopsided fashion, but this is indeed the recipe for haggis. As groundskeeper Willie says, "Tastes as good as it sounds!". I believe tripe is the stomach lining of a cow?
