Yes. (Unternehmen Barbarossa) was the German codename for Nazi Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union during World War II that commenced on June 22, 1941.
The codename was Operation Barbrossa,named after King Barbrossa.Now, originaly Hitler was going to attack Ukraine.But some idiot convinced him to attack Russia.So thats what he did.
