    What is the oldest show and how old are the main characters?

    		I believe the longest running show, or the oldest soap in England is Coronation Street but the characters are constantly changing (with some excpetions). How it has lasted so long is beyond me though, to me it has to be one of the worst shows around (others being Eastenders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Family Affairs etc)

    		How about the Oberammergau Passion Play? Characters from the New Testamant. Depends what you mean by a show I suppose.
