Do any other countries other than the USA have a fourth of July?

    Question #67670. Asked by daddy1161992.

Every country has a fourth of July. America is the only one that celebrates it, however, because it is the day of independence. The UK, for example, has no independence day, as we were never dependent, but the dependence day in Hungary is March 15.

Most countries have a "national day," which may or may not commemorate the declaration of the country's independent nationhood. This site includes a list:

I pretty sure that the fourth of July shows up on every calendar around the world. If you're talking about national days of celebration, here in Canada we're celebrating Canada Day (which used to be called Dominion Day), commemorating the day in 1867 when the British North America Act went into effect, creating Canada as a separate country in the British Empire (now the Commonwealth) and no longer a colony of Great Britain.
