If you put a raisin in a glass of champagne, will it keep floating to the top and sinking to the bottom?

Eventually it will get soaked and will remain at the bottom.

Yes. At first the raisin will sink, but it will eventually begin to bounce up and down in the glass. This happens as a result of dissolved carbon dioxide in the champagne. The wrinkles on the raisin trap the CO2 so that it clings to the raisin. The bubbles lift the raisin to the top. When the bubbles escape the raisin will sink. This continues to happen until the CO2 used up, at which point the raisin will settle on the bottom of the glass.
