Can someone explain the game "Marco Polo" to me? Is it some variation of "Blind Man's Buff" ?

one person closes his or her eyes and calls out marco and all other players call out polo after the person who is Marco. Marco then tries to catch one of the other players so the game is like a water version of tag

The children's game of Marco Polo is a form of tag played in a swimming pool. The game is popular in the United States, Canada and Brazil, and possibly in other parts of the world. Rules, etc. are on this link.

"Marco Polo" is a radio game played by people going to different restaurants, going in & yelling "Marco". If they've chosen the right restaurant, a person from the radio station will yell back "Polo" & the person will win tickets to a concert.
