Confusion arising here. E.g. (exempli gratia - for example) means 'for example' and is followed by one or more samples of somethijng. I.e. (id est - it is) means 'that is', which in turn means 'which means' and is followed by an explanation of what you've just said. Jul 13 06, 1:57 PM
