All I can think of is collectible cards, but that applies to almost everything.

They all are words that have been assimilated (loanword) into the Japanese language in a form that is as close to the original english word as can be spoken in the dialect.
Pokemon = pocketmonster
baseabaru = baseball
I am not sure of the football pronunciation in Japanese and I can not find a list that I know exists.

I also know Japan has some ties to then. For instance, a lot of baseball players are coming from Japan. There are some Japanese players who play in NFL Europe. And Japan gave us Pokemon.
