Sorry, Helena. You can have 'all' and 'except' in that context. And as to Antarctica, they won't even allow sledge dogs in now to avoid pollution and contamination, so the only 'cows' in Antarctica will be tin ones. Jul 14 06, 2:16 PM

Yes I do agree Baloo. The original article that I referenced does state that the cows did leave with Adm. Byrd. In all honesty, the cows in the picture look plastic. Same stance, same facial expression, same colorings.....Hum. Anywho..... Not many animals can be found on Antarctica. Especially ones that are not indigenous to the area. Animals found in Antarctica microscopic mites, lice, nematodes, tardigrades, rotifers, Snow Petrel, penguins, blue whales, fur seals, Adélie Penguin, Rockhopper penguin, King penguins, Chinstrap penguins, and Gentoo Penguins, Weddell Seal, Antarctic krill, leopard seals, squid,icefish, albatrosses but NO cows! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antarctica http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antarctica Jul 14 06, 4:25 PM
