Does shaving make your hair grow back thicker than if you hadn't shaved it at all?

No. What does happen is that the ends of the hairs are cut off sharply and not tapering like they would be if not cut. The result is that they feel thicker - and they may look thicker as there aren't the wispy ends of uncut hair.

Thank you, that is what I thought. My husband and I have debated this for years and you put it much better than I have.

There are several ways that flowers grow. Perennials grow back every year. Annuals usually need to be replanted every year. Bulbs store the energy for the plant to grow the next year. And corms and tubers that are similar to bulbs but solid inside.
