What is the oldest of the major world religions?

Of the major religions, Judaism is the oldest with a recorded history of over 5766 years. Christianity started only 2000 years ago. And Islam started after Judaism as both look to Abraham (who was a Jew) as main figures in their religion.

Hinduism is older than all of the above, and as the world's third largest religion I think it must be considered a "major" religion.

Judaism has the oldest still celebrated ritual. Passover seders have been a part of Jewish celebrations for at least three thousand years, longer than any other rituals in any religion known to man.
Islam started much later than Christianity. The Islamic year 1 is generally accepted as the year the prophet Muhammad made his journey from Mecca to Medina, and corresponds with the Christian year 622. While they take most of their traditions and historic validation from Abraham and his followers, most of these are really, like Christian traditions, borrowed from Judaism.
