I heard a song last night that used many girls names in it. But there was no verse. Just humming. It went something like this: Megan was a beauty she had a nice car, Jodie works at a diner and serves all day, Nancy is a nurse and helps the sick, and the verse is just humming. Any help?

Helen is a hostess, Frank works at the mill
Janet teaches grade school and prob'ly always will
Bob works for the city and Jack's in lab research
And Peggy plays organ at the Presbyterian Church

And the class of '57 had it's dreams
Oh We all thought we'd change the world with our great works and deeds
Or maybe we just thought the world would change to fit our needs
The class of '57 had dreams

Being a huge fan of Elton John, I was surprised when someone asked me if I had heard there was an extra verse to his song "Daniel" that was cut due to playing time. Any truth to this? If so, does anyone know the words to this cut verse?

You will be familiar with the nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence" which finishes with, "along came a blackbird and pecked off her nose." Now, I vaguely remember another verse which ends, "and popped it on again," referring, I think, to the maid's nose. Can anyone remember that verse?

Apparently "Jesus wept" is not the shortest verse in the Bible. "He said," Job, Chapter 3 Verse 2, has been suggested. Is there a shorter one?
