One of the great cities of the ancient world, offering one of the "Wonders" of the world, is today the scene of a major championship at which spectators must take care to stay out of the way of certain, um, byproducts. What is this interesting contest, and where does it does take place?

Question #68757. Asked by lanfranco. (Jul 24 06 6:08 PM)

Oh, dear, this must be the camel wrestling at Ephesus, and the spectators would have to duck from spit and urine...

Excellent, peasy, and a very good reason to equip the silver mace with a nice, protective, silk canopy ....

This sort of thing looks awfully expensive, doesn't it?

It does. How are you up for some jelly wrestling? We could charge admission...

Amazing that you should mention "jelly," because I was doing a little work on (yuck) "megilp" today.

We could definitely charge for this, especially with the right pigments:

Meglip wrestling for the cultured acedemics. Has a nice ring to it.

The Maven and robboy will want front row seats, of course.

    But of course!
