Six years after Geli’s death Hitler’s half – brother’s wife, Bridget Hitler, told Hitler’s close friend, Putzi Hanfstaengl, that "the immediate family knew very well the cause of Geli’s suicide was the fact that she was pregnant by a young, Jewish art teacher in Linz, whom she had met in 1928 and wanted to marry at the time of her death." This fourth – hand account is suspicious since Hitler had no contact with any of his family, except his sister Angela and her two daughters.
