If mint is a primary trigger for GERD and ARD, why do the make mint flavored antacids?

If something is described as flavoured it doesn't usually contain the ingredient mentioned.
For instance, if you advertise that your candy bar is a chocolate flavoured bar it doesn't have to actually contain any chocolate, if you just called it a chocolate bar it would by law in the UK have to contain a certain amount of cocoa solids.
