The theme song to Psych, "I Know, You Know", is performed by series creator Steve Franks and his band, the Friendly Indians. WIKI

You can download the MP3 from the link I am providing. These lyrics were all I could find off of someone's blog.
I know, you know, that I'm not telling the truth,
I know, you know, they just don't have any proof,
Embrace the deception, Lean how to bend,
Your worst inhibitions will PSYCH you out in the end

Don't forget the first verse that plays in the end credits!
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity
If it's all right, then you're all wrong
Why bounce around to the same damn song
You'd rather run when you can't crawl
I know, you know, that I'm not telling the truth
I know, you know, they just don't have any proof
Embrace the deception, Lean how to bend
You're worst inhibitions tend to psych you out in the end
I know, you know
I know, you know
I know, you know
I know, you know

This is a catchy little song, and the lyrics certainly fit the show. Basically, this is Shawn’s world view as directed toward Gus.
Between the lines, there’s a lot of obscurity
Life isn’t either/or, black or white, right or wrong—there is a lot of gray area to explore.
I’m not inclined to resign to maturity
“Maturity” is the standard, just-like-every-one-else, uptight adult world of work and responsibility.
If I’m all right, then you’re all wrong
That is the standard adult attitude—one of the aspects of “maturity”: I’m right about everything, therefore you must be wrong if you see things a different way. This is particularly true about adult attitudes toward children. And Shawn has been a child all his life.
Why bounce around to the same damned song
Why conform to all the politically correct attitudes and behaviors of the typical, uptight adult, work-oriented world.
You’d rather run when you can’t crawl.
You prefer to run around in circles rather than take things easy. And you can observe more of the world by taking your time and going slowly than you can by a lot of hectic, stressful activity. Also, you had rather run when you haven’t even learned how to crawl yet.
I know, you know, I’m not telling the truth
About being a psychic.
I know, you know, they just don’t have any proof
But no one can prove I’m not psychic.
It’s a deception, just learn to bend.
A deception is “An illusory feat; considered magical by naive observers.” So loosen up, relax and go with the flow and enjoy the game we’re playing.
Your worst inhibitions tend to psych you out in the end.
The only thing you are going to achieve with all your fears and inhibitions is that they will just freak you out and, in the end, make you crazy.
