Is this quite right? According to this site, Statue of Liberty Pedestal 27,000 tons, 13,300 cubic yards, which doesn't leave a lot for the statue itself. http://www.endex.com/gf/buildings/liberty/libertyfacts.htm I would have thought one of those huge Asian statues of Buddha would be heavier.
