Here’s what some companies do per year. The amount are staggering. Braviken Paper Mill in Sweden mainly produces directory and newsprint paper, both white and colored. Three paper machines are located at the mill: · PM51, the oldest one produces mainly directory paper in different colors (white, yellow and pink). The width of the rolls leaving the paper machine is 8.50m. Produces 200.000 tons of paper per year. · PM52 produces 250.000 tons of paper per year. · PM53 produces newsprint paper, at a rate of 300.000 tons per year. Södra Cell Folla is a paper mill located in Follafoss, Norway. The mill produces 100 000 tonnes of CTMP per year, and is owned by the Swedish company Södra Skogsägarna. Bowater Forest Products produces over half a million tonnes of newsprint annually (and as much again in pulp).
