Which is more advanced: AP or IB?

They're both seen as of the same difficulty level (even though they're not) by colleges in USA. The IB is considered more challenging everywhere else. AP has a better name in USA since it's more widespread, IB is almost unknown. IB is a more wholesome knowledge experience, while AP is just learning/memorizing a couple things and then taking a test.
