Latin America is a geocultural region consisting of countries on the continents of North America, South America , and some of the islands of the Caribbean, whose inhabitants mostly speak Romance languages (languages decended from Latin). Native American languages are also spoken. You can't even count the whole of South America as 'Latin'. Guyana largely speaks English with a considerable Bhojpuri group (locally referred to as 'Hindi'), and Suriname speaks Dutch and English, and Guiane Francaise speaks French.
