Yes. Latin America is those parts of the Americas where Spanish or Portuguese are spoken, which includes the Caribbean.

Latin America is a geocultural region consisting of countries on the continents of North America, South America , and some of the islands of the Caribbean, whose inhabitants mostly speak Romance languages (languages decended from Latin). Native American languages are also spoken. Strictly speaking the term Latin America could conceivably be applied to all regions of the Americas whose inhabitants speak either Spanish or Portuguese, or French, however all Romance speaking regions north of Mexico (ex/Quebec) are usually excluded.

You can't even count the whole of South America as 'Latin'. Guyana largely speaks English with a considerable Bhojpuri group (locally referred to as 'Hindi'), and Suriname speaks Dutch and English, and Guiane Francaise speaks French. Plus of course the native languages still found in those three countries.

In the most usual perspective, Latin America includes territories in the Americas where Spanish or Portuguese prevail: Mexico and most of Central America, South America, and (per land area and population) the Caribbean.
