Dilys Laye appeared in four of the 'Carry On' films:
Carry On Cruising (1962) as Florence 'Flo' Castle
Carry On Spying (1964) as Lila
Carry On Doctor (1967) as Mavis Winkle
Carry On Camping (1969) as Anthea Meeks

One of the characters in 'Carry On Cleo' is named Hengist Pod, and his wife's name is Sena – hence, Sena Pod.

"Infamy, Infamy - they've all got it in for me!" Kenneth Williams' definitve performance as Julius Caesar and Kenneth Connor at his funniest as Hengist Pod, the square wheel inventor, make this Carry On film both historical and hysterical!

Definitely TWO ways to read THIS question!!!
However, I believe there is only one correct answer to this question:
Kenneth Connor plays Hengist Pod in "Carry On Cleo." In this movie he creates the square wheel. His wife is named Sena Pod and I do not see that Dilys Laye appears in this movie.

When I checked Kenneth Connor's bio it stated he was twice married: Dilys Laye and Margaret Connor were the names given. I saw Dilys was in the movies and assumed that the name gizzi wanted was one of the characters Dilys played when he/she asked what is the name of his wife's character. Perhaps gizzi should have asked for the name of the character that is his character's wife? Oh I don't know...I'm confused and what I just wrote confuses me more! UGH! I do believe your answer is correct zbeckabee no matter how the question is worded...I believe you came up with the right answer!
