It is still unknown if this woman actually was a woman. She abdicated her throne, supposedly for her religion, but it is also known that she was "wasteful," creating hundreds of new titles in her country. She left her country and changed her name, was involved in a crime in France, and is buried in a very honored location. Who is she?

Christina (Kristina) (December 8, 1626 – April 19, 1689), later known as Maria Christina Alexandra and sometimes Count Dohna, was Queen regnant of Sweden from 1632 to 1654.
Christina was born in Stockholm and her birth occurred during a rare astrological conjunction that fueled great speculation on what influence the child, fervently hoped to be a boy, would have later on the world stage. Reportedly she was so hairy and large that the midwives in fact prematurely called out that a boy had been born. Her gender identity was never clear cut.
After having converted to Catholicism and abdicated her throne, she spent her latter years in France and Rome, where she was buried in St. Peter's Basilica.

Yes. She seems to have been a somewhat mysterious yet flamboyant figure.

The marchese Gian Rinaldo Monaldeschi was reputed to be the lover of Christina of Sweden in her Roman retirement. When she discovered that Monaldeschi had btrayed her plans to take the Kingdom of Naples to the Pope, she had him assassinated 10 February 1657, in her presence at Fontainebleau, where the queen was staying in her passage through France.

Name this woman, the sickness that she had, and a playwright that she may have met during her lifetime that wrote such literature as "Twelfth Night" and "Cymbeline".
