What are the three most spoken languages worldwide?

    Question #70715. Asked by skysmom65. (Sep 13 06 8:34 PM)

According to this site, they are Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, and English. I can't guarantee the accuracy of that.

My statistics may be a little antiquated, but I am next to sure that they are accurate enough. They are completely concurrent with the aforementioned languages; it is usually a back and forth battle between Mandarin and English for the most widely spoken (Mandarin usually on top). Give it time though, with the estimated population of India for the next ten years, both languages are bound to be sitting backseat.
