    KAS--Keep-Alive Signal or Killed on Active Service.
    VARR--Visual Aural Radio Range

    		Wow! I couldn't find that one. But it is unlikely to be the origins of the one I'm asking about - which was used in England in the 1920s as a house name. Names like this are often made up from two people's names, but we can't find anything that would give Kasvarr as a result.
