    		EARTH -- Though Earth figures in the Astronomical framework, i.e. plane of the equator (plane of the earth's equator projected into space).

    In ancient times only the seven planets-namely Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were used for astrology purposes. Only in the last few centuries man has discovered the three outer planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto and introduced them into his astrological studies.
