Sunoco provides the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams with Sunoco 98-octane unleaded racing gasoline free of charge. This gasoline is not readily available in local gas stations because there is not much demand for it in passenger cars. Even if Sunoco 260 GTX 98-octane racing gasoline was available at every Sunoco gas station in the United States, you would probably pass on filling your passenger car with it as it currently sells around $9.36 per gallon.
