How many bridges are there in London and when was the latest one built?

Question #71027. Asked by loominitsa. (Sep 27 06 1:45 PM)

I know it's not sometimes considered good form to ask a questioner to rephrase the question, but it's a bit difficult to count the bridges in London. The bridges in London that cross the Thames, yes. But bridges generally, no. There's railway bridges, flyovers, canal bridges, footbridges, bridges over rivers like the Lee and so on. Sorry, Loominitsa, but if I didn't post this there'd be mayhem. Probably will be, anyway.....
