Ferencvaros (Hungary) won the Inter Cities Fairs Cup ( now the UEFA Cup) in 1964-65, Beating Juventus of Italy 1-0.

I think the answer is correct. Inter Bratislava (Czechoslovakia, now Slovakia) won the Intertoto Cup both in 1962/63 and 1963/64, but at that time the Intertoto Cup was not a UEFA cup as it is now.
The first finalist in a UEFA cup from Eastern Europe was Dinamo Zagreb, who lost to Valencia at the Inter Cities Fairs Cup 1962/63.
