Animal. When young, it swims around and then settles down as an adult and cements itself to something. If that's a rock or jetty, it never travels again. If it's a shell or crab, it travels a short way. If it's a ship, it gets around but I don't suppose it really cares. (There are people like that, aren't there....) Oct 08 06, 7:40 AM
