A former scientist, now an installation artist, has managed to turn a portion of an important art gallery into a sort of playground. Who is he, what somewhat controversial work of art has he installed, what is it called, and can you provide a picture of it?

I'm thinking this must be the 'Test Site' in the Tate Modern Gallery, by Carsten Holler.

That's the one, peasy. And if you ask me, a conceptual piece that invites excited patron participation is a very good thing.

A silver mace to you. Or would you rather get a ride on the slide?

I'll take the mace. A morbid fear of enclosed tunnels...long story, don't ask. ;)

An important artist, best known by a name drived from his birthplace, produced a spectacular and exuberantly-colorful work purporting to represent a solemn religious subject often commissioned for precisely the sort of room that was the painting's intended destination. When certain authorities expressed their outrage, the artist didn't alter the painting, he simply changed the title. Who was this painter, what is the painting, and what was it originally called?

Some scholars consider this important work of art to represent a virtual legal document, which records an event to which the artist was an official witness. What is it, what details support this theory, and can you provide an illustration?

One of his most well known pieces was created while suffering from delusions associated with extreme hunger. He pioneered an intriguing concept of art by which the artist performs the opposite of what conventional painters usually do. Later in life he dabbled with another concept in which the National Gallery of Canberra proudly displays an example. Who is this, what techniques did he pioneer, and can you provide a picture of the example in Canberra?
