    Julia was a 1960s television series, best remembered as being the first weekly series to depict an African American woman in a non-stereotypical role.

    The show starred actress and singer Diahann Carroll, and ran on NBC from 1968 to 1971 and was directed by Don Ameche.

    The name of the show was Julia and starred Diahann Carroll. She recently played Preston Burkes mother on an episode of Greys Anatomy, and looks remarkably good for her age.
