In Ask Funtrivia we ask questions we want other people to answer PRS. If you know it you can post it in many other areas for interesting facts, especially the useless trivia chat board.

"Although chondromas are benign tumors, this finding contradicts the theory that shark cartilage contains an anticancer substance," says John C. Harshbarger, PhD, lead researcher and director of the Registry of Tumors in Lower Animals at George Washington University. "The inaccurate claims that sharks do not get cancer have fostered the use of unproven treatments of shark cartilage extract as a tumor angiogenesis inhibitor. As a result, critical patient time and resources are being consumed by something that has no proven therapeutic value."

satguru, that annoyed me about this part of the site, too, but I find most of the questions are asked by people who already know the answers. Apparently that is also part of the purpose: posing arcane brainteasers.

I think McGruff answered my question about that and said those are legitimate questions.

Fortunately, I have received good answers to my several sincere questions.

By the way, what's PRS? And, you're not allowed to use abbreviations like that anyway.

Sorry for that excessively stupid reply, satguru--I didn't read closely enough, and I can't figure out how to delete it.

You can't delete it. Only editors and moderators can do that. And as you've been nice about it and not stroppy like some recent cases have been, I think McGruff will just wave his magic wand, and your error (and this post) will disappear....
