I believe it was John Lowe in the World Matchplay championships in 1984. He received £102000 for achieving it. If you mean the first televised 147 that would be Steve 'the nugget' Davis in the Lada Classic in 1982. He received a Lada for that feat! Oct 25 06, 1:50 PM
